Such a good, balanced exposition. Thanks.

I know I have read that individuals over 65 should up the amount of protein in their diet. Is that still thought to be true?

I just became a paid member. Before I could read what I would get for my money, I was inundated with unwanted E-mails. I think I will NEVER sign up for anything on the internet again! If a person in the USA doesn’t even own his most personal information, I think it’s terrible. How dare you sell my name, address, phone number, or E-mail address. In short, I am not happy with my purchase.

Hi Ann, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I also hate when my data is sold. I can assure you that neither Substack nor we sell any of your data. Substack, as a platform, is actually the one that holds your personal info (we don't have access to it), and they explicitly state in their policy that they won't sell your data. However, I just looked into it, and it looks like Substack had a large data breach where the info of over 700,000 users was exposed, so it's likely your info was part of that breach. So sorry that happened to you, and I completely understand your frustration. I would be annoyed with that too.
