Ooni Pizza Oven. We both own an Ooni oven and absolutely love it. It’s on the pricier side, but if you’re a pizza lover or looking for an extra-special gift for someone who is, it’s a fantastic investment. Once you factor in cost per use and the joy of making your perfect pizza at home, it quickly proves its value. - Dr. Weil and Diana
Breville Smart Oven Pizza Stone. A pizza stone can be a great alternative to a pizza oven. A good pizza stone (like this one) distributes heat evenly, giving you a better, more authentic pizza. - Diana
Bamboo Matcha Whisk. If you’re a matcha lover, a bamboo whisk (or chasen) is a must. To whisk, move it in a zigzag pattern and avoid hitting the delicate tines on the bottom of the bowl for the best results. - Dr. Weil and Diana
Microplane Grater/Zester. The absolute best microplane I have found. This is the only grater I use for Parmesan, but you can use it for anything from grating garlic cloves and whole nutmeg to zesting citrus rinds. - Dr. Weil
Baymix Immersion Blender. We love using immersion blenders for soups, salad dressings, and sauces. A must for any home chef! This is my favorite immersion blender. - Dr. Weil
Matcha Frother. This is the frother I use to make my matcha. Check it out in my How to Make Cold Matcha video. It’s simple and gives you a good froth. You can save 20% on a one-time purchase with the code: MKWEIL (Please note that I am a partner in this company.) - Dr. Weil
Vitamix Blender. I like making my own cashew milk (as mentioned in our conversation about raw milk), but you do need a high-powered blender. While a bit pricier, I do think a good blender is worth the investment. This is the one I have and have used for years. A versatile tool you can use for soups, smoothies, nut milks, and more. - Dr. Weil
Zyliss Susi 3 Garlic Press. Made in Switzerland, this is the only garlic press I’ve found that actually presses all the garlic through. It is a staple in my cooking, in part because I use garlic often. - Dr. Weil
Copper Nesting Measuring Cups. If you are looking for a gift that will be used frequently, try these measuring cups. They are heavy, durable, and look and feel nice. - Diana
Pasta and Noodle Maker. For Christmas last year, my dad gave me this pasta maker, and it’s been such a hit for my family! It’s easy to use and makes for a fun date night. - Diana
Tea Kettle. This tea kettle is one of our favorite kitchen items. You can set the exact temperature you’d like and how long you want it to stay hot. A must for serious matcha and coffee drinkers! Plus, the design and colors they offer are beautiful. - Dr. Weil and Diana
Lucini Premium Select Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. This is the olive oil I use for salad dressings or drizzling on vegetables. Consistent in quality and taste, I highly recommend it. - Dr. Weil
The Fishwife Tinned Fish. As mentioned in my post on becoming a pescatarian, I enjoy tinned fish, especially tinned sardines and herring. I have found the ones from The Fishwife’s to be tasty and of excellent quality. A good way to sample tinned fish if you are new to them. - Dr. Weil
Bachan’s The Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce. I just got this Japanese barbecue sauce, and I’m obsessed with it. Simple ingredients and good on just about everything from sandwiches to tofu to rice bowls. Highly recommended! - Diana
Fly By Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp. “I have come to find this chili crisp a mainstay in my condiments - I use it on everything from vegetables and tofu to dumplings and noodles. Savory, spicy, and versatile.” - Dr. Weil
The Snak Yard Shiitake Mushroom. We’ve both been loving these organic, seasoned dried shiitake mushrooms lately. These would make for a great stocking stuffer! - Dr. Weil and Diana
“Original” Ceremonial Grade Matcha. This daily ceremonial-grade matcha is high-quality and good for anyone just starting to drink matcha. - Dr. Weil and Diana
Kin Euphorics Matchatini Matcha Mocktail. I made this matcha mocktail in collaboration with Kin Euphorics, and it’s perfect for this time of year. It’s creamy, rich, and has a great umami taste thanks to the matcha. Now through the end of the year, you can save 15% off with code: drweilxkin - Dr. Weil
Rishi Teas. If I am not drinking matcha, Rishi teas are a go-to. Their teas are organic, unique and delicious. I highly recommend this brand. - Diana
Raw Cashews from Nuts.com. “I love nuts.com - it’s where I get all my nuts from. I especially love their raw cashews.” - Dr. Weil
Perfect Pickler. We both own and use this, and highly recommend it for anyone interested in pickling veggies at home. See how we use it in our “How To Make Homemade Pickles” video! - Dr. Weil and Diana
Garden Master Expandable Food Dehydrator. If you want to dry your own foods, think fruits, veggies, even mushrooms or meat, this dehydrator is a great option. We like to dry tomatoes, then blend them into flakes and give them as gifts! - Diana
Pizza Set. Give the gift of pizza with the Ooni Pizza Oven, a Pizza Peel and a Pizza Cutter! A wonderful family gift or a great one for the cook in your family!
Ceremonial Matcha Tea Set. A perfect gift set for the matcha lovers in your life! It includes the Original Ceremonial Grade Matcha, the Matcha Frother, the Bamboo Matcha Whisk and more.
How to Make Sourdough by Emmanuel Hadjiandreou. One of my favorite things to do when I’m hosting is to make fresh bread for my guests. This cookbook has changed my approach to baking bread and sourdough in general. He has some great bread recipes that would also be fun for brunch, including sourdough bagels and a sourdough apple carrot loaf. - Diana
