I love a bowl of popcorn and a good movie on New Year’s Eve, and topping them with healthy spices and herbs helps keep things creative! Try some of my favorites:
Olive Oil, Turmeric, and Sea Salt. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, sprinkle turmeric, and a pinch of black pepper for absorption. It’s anti-inflammatory and earthy.
Garlicky Corn.Toss popcorn with garlic powder, dried oregano, parsley, and a light mist of avocado oil.
Smoky Paprika and Nutritional Yeast - one of my faves! Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy, B-vitamin-rich flavor, and smoked paprika offers a nice warmth.
Chili-Lime. Add chili powder, a squeeze of lime, and sea salt. Tangy yet healthy.
Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Sea Salt - Dust lightly with unsweetened cocoa powder and cinnamon; toss with a drizzle of coconut oil for a cozy treat.
