This was awesome to see. I’m definitely getting these products. The next time I go to Trader Joe’s, I do love the tofu that is a go to for me, but I do have a question Diane a little bit off topic and more dietary concern. I am 56 years old and I really have not incorporated the dairy and meat part in my diet or eggs, but I definitely am going to do so but I’m wondering if I’m even getting enough protein at this point I am vegan as of now or vegetarian because I have tried a little bit of goat cheese and found that I like it, but I definitely will be going to Trader Joe’s and buying the cheese that you said and the Greek yogurt as well and all the other products I just haven’t quite got to the sardine part. I have them and bought them, but for now I’m just taking the LG oil pills for my omega, but I’m wondering if I’m really even getting enough protein then I usually will eat protein, wise my lentils or chickpeas on my favorite beans, just curious as to how much protein I should be getting at my age. I am post menopausal I guess I don’t have my monthly or anything else and I usually just eat beans as my protein. I wonder how many cups of beans I should be eating to make sure I get enough protein. Could you please elaborate and help me out on this with some wisdom????

I will definitely find those Trader Joe's products. Thanks! And I also wonder what you think of this cereal that we buy (and love). (oh, I tried to upload a photo and can't). It is Food For Life, Sprouted Crunchy Cereal, Golden Flax. Has zero sugar and zero oil added. It's like a granola..

Also, I did have a question in regards to supplements. I just about finished up reading the eight weeks to optimum health, and I noticed that they say that there are supplements that you actually have your own brand but yet when I look for them, I cannot find them could you please share with me a direct link and possibly some wisdom and insight as to what might be best for me I would greatly appreciate any help in regards to supplementation and what I should be taking.

I am so glad you finally got around to posting the information in regards to Trader Joe’s. That is one of my absolute favorite stores here in Nashua, New Hampshire, and I also go shopping at Aldi‘s as well because they have some really good deals on their produce and fruit and they actually just recently got a bunch of different sauces and seasonings that I really like. Perhaps you guys will post some more information as far as other things at Trader Joe’s or better yet maybe you guys have an Aldi supermarket there don’t know and do the same thing. Do you like a grocery hall? I also was wondering I am vegan currently and I’m transitioning over to a vegetarian lifestyle. I was just wondering as to the reasoning why to incorporate dairy I know about the fish and I know about LG oil but everything I have seen they say dairy is not good. It creates mucus in the system. Do you have possibly some information you could share with me as to the reason to incorporate dairy not that I don’t like it because I actually do and I was vegetarian when I was pregnant 19 years ago with my son so just feeling a little insecure I guess about incorporating dairy in my diet and I will eventually get to the fish part. I did like sardines and I did like yogurt. Maybe you can list some studies or something just to make me feel a little more confident in myself in regards to the shift to incorporating dairy and becoming vegetarian Astro pose Whole Foods plant based thank you so very much though this is awesome and I definitely am going to do some of the recipes and buy those products when I go to Trader Joe’s. Thank you so much for the both of you and especially Diane having a conversation you are such a kinder sweet soul thank you thank you thank you

We will definitely do more of these in the future! Here's a large scale meta analysis you can check out https://www.nature.com/articles/s41430-025-01639-5 and another one on how the fat in dairy may actually improve heart health. There are different types of saturated fat and the one in dairy appears to be protective of heart health. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7231591/

Thank you so very much. I look forward to seeing more articles because honestly right now it seems the diet Youtubers are definitely promoting a vegan Wholefoods plant-based diet with no oil and no dairy at all or fish and I can tell you personally as you know that is not sustainable specially as we’re past menopause our body start telling us we’re not messing around anymore so thank you so much. I’m so blessed to have found you guys and feel much better and healthier.
