Homemade Mushroom Gravy
Mushroom gravies are rich and have a deep umami flavor- great for meat eaters and vegetarians alike! Mushrooms have a very similar texture to meat once cooked and make for a great addition to any holiday meal. This gravy can be made up to three days in advance, just store it in the fridge in an airtight container. You can use any mushroom variety you like, but I prefer to use a mix – typically of shiitake, crimini, and/or oyster.
