Some days you can’t avoid the fast food lines, so use this handy list of swaps for places. like Chipotle, Panera, Starbucks, Subway, Taco Bell and more. Each will still provide a satisfying experience, but give you an extra boost of nutrients, protein and fiber so you avoid the afternoon slump!

1. Chipotle: Build-Your-Own Burrito Bowl

Create a bowl that provides fiber, healthy fats, and anti-inflammatory ingredients with the following:

  • Base: Romaine lettuce or brown rice

  • Protein: Beans, sofritas (tofu) or grilled chicken

  • Toppings: Fajita veggies, tomato salsa, guacamole
